Creative Cooperators
The Co-ops Rock website is made possible due to the creative collaboration of many people:
- Triangle Park Creative donated space on ther their top-notch secure servers and put them to work as the web host for Co-ops Rock. The Minneapolis-based creative services firm dedicates their brains, passion, and creative energy to cooperatives, nonprofits, and other worthy progressive businesses and organizations. With a motto of “design for a better world,” Triangle Park develops websites, identity, and a wide range of graphic/web design materials for some of the most noble organizations around. Triangle Park also jumps in to fix the vast myriad of technological screw-ups that take place when the designer/creator of the Co-ops Rock website gets too big for his digital britches. Which is nice.
- National Cooperative Grocers Association donated the “dot coop” for Co-ops Rock. NCGA s a business services cooperative for natural food co-ops located throughout the United States. The organization helps unify natural food co-ops in order to optimize operational and marketing resources, strengthen purchasing power, and ultimately offer more value to natural food co-op owners and shoppers everywhere.
- Ken Davis is the creator/designer/developer/editor/writer/tinkerer of the Co-ops Rock website and an all-around, multi-faceted geek. He is the web editor for the Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society, Inc., and also runs a freelance creative services firm serving clients across the country—particularly nonprofits, progressive businesses, and the alternative press. When not crashing Triangle Park servers, he kills time as a writer, graphic/web designer/developer, artist, illustrator, nihilist philosopher, consultant, activist, cartoonist, musician, sumo wrestler, thumb gymnast, jet-setting fashion model, and infinitely dangerous wannabe computer programmer who regularly attempts complex coding beyond his ability. What’s life without a little risk?
